Located in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Giant Steps Wines is regarded as one of the most progressive wineries in Australia and is recognized globally for its pursuit of site expression for premium cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wines are among the most anticipated releases from Australia and considered benchmarks for the Yarra Valley.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Vineyard Operations Manager, this role involves hands on vineyard operations, including but not limited to:

- Tractor operations (mowing, fungicide spraying, trimming etc.)
- Pruning
- Harvest operations
- General property upkeep
- Repairs and maintenance (tractors, trellis, irrigation, fencing)

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience with machinery operations, ideally in a vineyard environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure, adaptable to changing deadlines and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift license.

The following will be looked at favourably, but are not essential:

- ChemCert license

Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
