Your part in our Blue Care team

Reporting to the Senior Manager Quality & Compliance, the role will provide leadership and direction of care and clinical governance and quality improvement systems, to prevent, control and manage infections effectively when they occur, improve antimicrobial stewardship and support appropriate, safe and sustainable use of infection prevention and control resources in BlueCare.

This will be delivered through developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement that aligns with the quality framework across BlueCare and ensures the provision of quality care, adherence with regulatory compliance requirements, reinforcing collaboration across all services and support functions.

What makes a difference for us?- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration.- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Health discipline.- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the aged care or community sector.- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative frameworks and quality standards, including knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, NCQSH standards and NDIS Practice Standards.- Completed _COVID-19 infection control online training modules, _as required by the Department of Health & Aged Care.- Demonstrated expert knowledge and/or clinical experience in IPC and quality systems in either the aged care, community care or health sectors.- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary care and clinical governance practices, and continuous quality improvement practices.- Demonstrated high level effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including advanced computer skills.- Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
