Full-time Medical Secretary required for immediate start
An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and ambitious Medical Secretary to join our friendly and busy team in our Malvern clinic.
We are a multi-site clinic who are growing rapidly. We currently have 6 clinicians across 4 clinics (Malvern, Heidelberg, Forest Hill and Richmond).
- The Role_
The role will be based in Malvern, 5 days per week 8:30am - 5:00pm.
We are also open to a 9 day fortnight.
You will be working from the Malvern office to oversee the running of the Malvern clinic on a daily basis. You will also be communicating with the 6 clinicians, 1 technician and other administrative staff who are based across the 4 sites.
Salary is $60-65k + super
Duties include
- General reception duties including answering the phone
- Looking after patient bookings and queries
- Ordering stock and stocktake
- Medical audio typing
- Scanning and maintenance of medical records
- Managing unpaid accounts and billing
- Working with TAC, Workcover, SWEP and NDIS
- Interacting with patients to ensure a positive experience in the clinic
- Maintain referrer relationships
- Organise and co-ordinate external meetings and presentations for the clinicians
- Identify and implement improvements within the clinic
We would love someone who is warm and confident with patients. Super organised with an ability to multitask and continually re-prioritise is a must. Exceptional written English skills are a non negotiable and tech savvy skills are desirable.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Malvern, VIC 3144: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Medical administration: 1 year (preferred)
