**About the role**

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor you will support our high throughput CSBP Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory to meet business demands throughout the year.

As Receivals Assistant 2IC your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving and sorting soil and plant samples from farm, agribusiness and research customers around Australia
- Sample preparation - grinding and sieving soil and plant samples for analysis by our technicians;
- Ensuring the laboratory has clean equipment;
- Assisting with customer inquiries, data entry and soil texturing;
- Supporting the team in general cleaning of preparation areas and washing laboratory equipment.

To succeed in this role you will carry out routine tasks accurately with confidence and adhere to strict methodologies. You will be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment, and take pride in delivering consistency and quality as part of an accountable, high performing team.

**Please note**:

- The work environment can be dusty and noisy and suits an active, hands on person who enjoys working in a team, and will be comfortable working in PPE such as a face shield (breathing protection) or safety glasses, gloves and earmuffs.
- Due to the operational hours of the laboratory, you must be available to commence work at 7.00am Monday - Friday, with some flexibility in start and finish times required during peak seasonal periods to meet our business requirements.
