ABOUT THE COMPANY

In operation for over 80 years, our client is considered a world leader in Industrial Valve assembly. As a quality manufacturer, they pride themselves in their products as well as exceptional customer support.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the team leader, we are looking for people with a mechanical mind and a can-do attitude, who can work independently and also in a team environment. This role will suit a qualified fitter or someone with mechanical aptitude and the right attitude. This is a combined role with the right applicant being capable of performing fitting and machining work and also performing the day-to-day valve assembly functions.

DUTIES
- Mechanical assembly of valves, actuators and accessories
- Assembly of extension fixtures, sensing devices and protection elements
- Assembly of instrumentation, regulators and other components
- Small machining tasks as required on a job-by-job basis

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift licence and warehouse background
- Fitting and machining experience is desirable
- Team player
