ABOUT THE ROLE


Reporting to the team leader, we are looking for people with a mechanical mind and a can-do attitude, who can work independently and also in a team environment.

This role will suit a qualified fitter or someone with mechanical aptitude and the right attitude.

This is a combined role with the right applicant being capable of performing fitting and machining work and also performing the day-to-day valve assembly functions.


DUTIES

  • Mechanical assembly of valves, actuators and accessories
  • Assembly of extension fixtures, sensing devices and protection elements
  • Assembly of instrumentation, regulators and other components
  • Small machining tasks as required on a jobbyjob basis
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Forklift licence and warehouse background
  • Fitting and machining experience is desirable
  • Team player
