We are seeking a capable and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to support the team at Parklea Correctional Centre.

The Warehouse Coordinator provides logístical expertise, hands on leadership and assists in planning, developing and managing logistics arrangements, and warehouse operations, to maintain the smooth operations of PCC.

**Some of the **Warehouse Coordinator** **responsibilities **are provided as a general guide in relation to the requirements and objectives of this position, including but not limited to**:

- The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for warehouse daily functioning and team workflow.
- Completing 28-day roster, daily tasking, toolbox talks, communicating effectively to achieve outcomes.
- Be the main contact point for the team.
- Recruit staff as required.
- Physically receive and unload supplies delivered to the warehouse.
- Open boxes, crates, and other containers to ensure goods received are in line with the purchase order.
- Assist in maintaining quality of stock received by assessing it at the time of delivery - 3-way checking.
- Electronically receive supplies, sell stock, complete bin transfers, and maintain data integrity in the WMS.
- Sort and place stock on racks, shelves or in bins according to requirements within the warehouse, and update WMS
- Carry out quality control activities to ensure work is being performed efficiently and in accordance with instructions and procedures.
- Be an active member of the Food Safety Team
- Move stock and meals across the Centre using forklifts, various material handling equipment and trailers, if and when required.
- Coordinate monthly stock takes / cycle counts / stock checks.
- Assist in the process of developing, maintaining and transferring relevant knowledge as required in relation to procedures and processes.
- Direct warehouse housekeeping duties.

**Skills & Experience**:
**The following key experiences and skills are desirable in relation to this position and would include but not be limited to**:

- Previous experience in a similar role in a correctional or institutional environment would be advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated skills and high level of competency in data entry, WMS operations Communicate verbally and in writing in a manner that is pro-social, appropriate for the audience, clear, thorough, and effective
- Passionate about working within a team environment
- Able to prioritise tasks to ensure completion of outcomes

**Mandatory qualifications and requirements**:

- Must obtain appropriate security clearances from New South Wales Police and Correctional Services New South Wales
- Must meet the physical requirements of the role and pass a functional fitness and health assessment; due to the demands of the role, applicants who consume alcohol excessively, abuse prescription drugs or consume illicit substances are unsuitable

- Ability to gain and retain all the police/security
