Overview

Belgravia Leisure is hiring a Swimming Teacher to deliver Swimming and Water Safety instruction as part of our swim program at Mill Park Leisure Centre, Mill Park VIC 3082.

Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming and water safety to participants across a range of ages and abilities
  • Deliver classes in mornings, evenings and weekends as required
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment and uphold customer service standards
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current AustSwim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check
  • AUSTSWIM extension certificate (Desirable)
  • Understanding of OHS and public safety within your facility
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and be empathetic to class needs
  • Excellent verbal communication and a passion for swimming

Previous experience in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.
