Overview

We are seeking caring, enthusiastic and creative Leisure & Lifestyle Assistants to complement our inter-disciplinary team in providing excellent individual and small group therapy that enhances our Consumers' quality of life at our Hunters Hill Campus.

As a Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant you will adopt a holistic approach to develop, implement, and evaluate 'best practice' programs designed specifically for our Consumers. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate leisure and lifestyle programs for individuals and groups.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support consumer wellbeing.
Qualifications
  • Essential Criteria
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Creativity with ability and knowledge of and understanding of effective engagement for groups and individuals
  • Residential aged care experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs for groups and individual therapy
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in the delivery and effective implementation of leisure programs
  • Creative and cognitive based skills to run effective and stimulating groups
  • Life skills will be highly regarded
