Are you passionate about wine and eager to share that passion with others? Australia Wine & Spirits is seeking a dynamic Wine Sales Representative to join our team In this exciting role, you'll be the face of our brand, building and nurturing relationships with restaurants, wine bars, independent retailers, and various on- and off-premise accounts throughout beautiful Queensland. Your mission? To drive sales, educate customers about our exquisite portfolio, and deliver outstanding service.

What You'll Do

  • Build Relationships:Cultivate and maintain strong connections with existing and potential customers, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and bottle shops.
  • Expand Our Reach: Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow our market presence.
  • Engage & Educate: Host wine tastings and promotional events to elevate brand awareness and showcase your passion for wine.
  • Achieve Sales Goals:Meet and exceed sales targets by implementing strategic sales plans.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch customer service while maintaining in-depth knowledge of our wine offerings.
  • Stay Ahead of the Game: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Keep Records:Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and client communications.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our internal team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and optimal customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in wine sales, hospitality, or the beverage industry.
  • A strong knowledge and passion for wine.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Queensland and occasionally interstate.
  • A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • WSET certification (Level 2 minimum or similar), with a goal of achieving Level 3.
  • A current RSA certificate.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or residents or hold a valid existing Australian work visa.
