With a strong presence in Australia, Manila and Papua New Guinea, they are backed by a strategic M&A roadmap with significant growth planned over the next three years.
About The Role
As the business enters a pivotal phase of growth, scale, and transformation, it is seeking to appoint its first Chief People Officer, and as such a key member of the Leadership team, to design and lead a progressive people strategy that drives high performance, cultural cohesion, and scalable growth across their geographical markets. With a sharp focus on attracting and retention of talent, fostering great culture, and revenue growth, the environment demands a confident leader who communicates with clarity, acts decisively, and delivers measurable outcomes. The role has 9 direct reports, across HR, L&D/OD, payroll and recruitment.
Key elements of the role but not limited are:
- Strategic Leadership & Alignment: Lead the development and execution of a Group-wide People, Culture, and Capability strategy aligned with overall business goals and ESG commitments.
- Executive & Leadership Development: Partner with the ELT to build a high-performing leadership team and implement executive and emerging leader development programs.
- Talent & Workforce Planning: Design and embed a talent management and resourcing strategy that ensures the right skills and capabilities are in place to support future growth.
- Culture, Engagement & Change: Drive employee engagement and cultural alignment, particularly through periods of change such as mergers and acquisitions.
- Operational Excellence in People Systems: Oversee HR policies, payroll, systems, and technologies to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a high-quality employee experience.
- Governance & Reporting: Provide strategic workforce insights and updates to the Executive Team and Board, ensuring all HR practices meet regulatory standards and support organisational performance.
You will be a leader in a similar role, preferably with an ASX-listed or private-equity backed business with a proven background in fast paced, commercial environments and strong experience leading a business through a series of mergers and acquisitions.
- You will have proven executive level experience and tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- You bring a leadership style defined by resilience, commercial focus, and a consistent track record of exceeding goals in dynamic, high-pressure environment
