As an Account Manager based in Victoria, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Prospect and onboard new accounts.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales growth in existing customer account bases.
  • Conduct regular visits to achieve determined account coverage.
  • Build an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives.
  • Attend weekly strategy meetings and team meetings as scheduled.
  • Document all sales activities in the company's CRM system.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service between project teams, branches, and operational teams.

To excel in this role, you must be able to perform each key responsibility satisfactorily.

Your qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Evidence of electrical industry knowledge.
  • Able to build and maintain productive relationships.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Outstanding communication skills for effective communication with customers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Datacom experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required.
