About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join GrainCorp Foods from our West Footscray offices. The role reports to the National Business Manager and partners closely to deliver value creation, growth, project management, and innovation across the Bakery portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake technical account management across Bakery through applied knowledge in a mid-large manufacturing setting.
  • Manage margin, volume, and customer service levels to existing and new accounts through effective call cycles, forecasting, pricing, etc.
  • NPD project management of product development and trials of new products in conjunction with Innovations stream to deliver customer requirements.
  • Implement long-term agreements and complete quarterly reviews with key customers.
  • Prepare and analyze sales and performance reports to identify areas of opportunity for improvement for GrainCorp and the customer.

About Your Experience

You'll be trade qualified in Baking and/or Pastry and have the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Presentation skills to deliver B2B plans, reports, and reviews.
  • Communication skills to liaise internally and externally with senior management.
  • Experience in managing large business-to-business account relationships.
  • Computer literacy in CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Accurate data management and numerical ability.
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake travel intra/interstate on an infrequent basis.

Requirements

  • Proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
  • A pre-employment medical and driver's license are required for this position.
