Overview

GHD Graduate Program 2025/26 - Civil Engineering - Newcastle & Northern NSW. Two-year Graduate Development Program designed to kickstart your career in civil engineering with opportunities across structures, roads, geotechnical, water, or rail. From day one, you\'ll be part of a collaborative design team working on real projects.

Responsibilities / What you'll do
  • Contribute to transport upgrades, geotech investigations, structural assessments, and sustainable water solutions.
  • Possibly get involved in tenders, proposals, and site visits.
  • Work with mentors to build consulting foundations and tailor development pathways.
What we offer/Start dates

Most full-time roles kick off February 2026, with some teams starting earlier in mid-2025. Casual opportunities may exist during final year.

What we\'re looking for (Qualifications)
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for problem solving.
  • Ability to contribute to a diverse, inclusive team; interest in multiple civil engineering disciplines.
