    Job Description

    The role will include the following:
    • Statutory obligations
    • POC for the audit
    • Manage a small team, providing leadership & guidance
    • Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Assist in the management and overview of Payroll
    • Tax obligations - local & overseas entities
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
    • Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Support strategic projects and initiatives within the life science sector

    The Successful Applicant

    A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
    • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent).
    • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
    • Ideally big-4 or mid-tier background in audit
    • Experience in financial management and reporting roles.
    • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
    • Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
