Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia Dellner Group Full time

This is a newly created role in our business, supporting the full Dellner Glass Solutions business unit. The Project Management team exists to ensure the smooth running of projects, particularly during the transition from engineering to production, to achieve high customer satisfaction and product quality.

Description

You will assist the Head of Project Management to plan and execute projects, track progress, report risks and communicate updates to stakeholders. You will independently manage projects, creating detailed project plans, allocating resources, tracking budgets, leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, coordinating stakeholder communication and managing the overall project and risks to achieve project objectives and deliverables, on time and in full. You will maintain project documentation, facilitate meetings and monitor our adherence to our policies. You will support continuous improvement through lessons learnt.

Qualifications

You don't need to have loads of experience, but for us, the right candidate has:

  1. 1-3 years' experience in project management, project coordinator or a similar role
  2. Experience within a manufacturing environment; it would be great if this was within aluminium or glass processing
  3. Demonstrated experience using your organisational skills and prioritising skills to manage multiple schedules, deadlines and priorities
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude to get the best out of your colleagues and ensure a successful project
  5. Experience with project management software and project management methodologies
  6. A basic understanding of budgeting, scheduling and risk management
  7. We'd be really impressed if you also had a bachelor's degree in business, engineering or project management and / or certificates in project management (e.g. CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation).

This is an exciting opportunity for you to build on your existing experience by supporting our existing team whilst also taking ownership of your own projects. There is potential for this to develop further with international projects.
