Position Details:

Summary:

Performs a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the hospital, including functions requiring specialized machines and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, supporting team goals and collaborating with patient care team members.
  • Ability to create a patient care environment focused on needs and expectations.
  • Ability to take initiative and contribute beyond formal duties.
  • Exposure to odors, feces, blood, etc., and to risks such as falls, strains, contagious diseases, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Effective communication skills, including electronic methods.
  • Population-specific competency to interact respectfully with diverse patient populations.
  • Physical demands include exerting 25-50 pounds frequently, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing medium to heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting hourly rate: $15.77 - $19.85, based on experience and location. Summa Health offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and more.
