The opportunity
Our highly regarded Brisbane General insurance practice, led by Andrew Cheetham, is looking for a Junior Solicitor to join this high performing team. We act for clients - national / international on a diverse range of matters. You'll get direct client access and scope to team up with our national colleagues.
You will gain exposure to prominent multijurisdictional matters and have the opportunity to work closely with the firm's corporate and government clients. The role includes providing policy advice, assisting in the defence of claims, and contributing to the development of preventative risk strategies. Matters will span across PI, public and product liability, historical institutional abuse, and complex casualty claims.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
- 2 years PAE;
- strategic and critical thinking capability;
- strong written and verbal skills, particularly with writing advices;
- motivated, can do approach. Ability to think outside the box and provide value-adding solutions to clients
