The Role

As a Line Leader, you'll be at the heart of our production. You'll supervise your team to ensure our products are made safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while coaching and inspiring your team to perform at their best. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll:

  • Lead and Inspire: Set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and build a positive team culture where people feel supported, valued, and motivated.
  • Champion Health & Safety: Act as a role model for safe practices, ensuring all work is performed in line with company procedures and food safety standards. Promote a proactive safety culture, identify and resolve hazards, and encourage your team to always put safety first.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily production targets, manage downtime effectively, and ensure efficiency and quality in every process.
  • Coach & Develop: Train and guide team members to build capability, encourage accountability, and foster open communication and collaboration.
  • Improve & Innovate: Look for ways to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with supervisors, managers, and support teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively, ensuring production stays on track.

We're looking for a candidate who can step into this role with ownership, leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality.

The Person

We're not just looking for experience—we're looking for great people who can lead, motivate, and take ownership. To succeed as a Line Leader, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to lead people, take responsibility, and deliver results. FMCG experience is a bonus.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability; you follow through and drive your team to meet high standards.
  • A safety-first mindset; you lead by example and embed a culture where safety comes first.
  • Excellent people skills; you communicate clearly, build trust, resolve issues fairly, and bring out the best in others.
  • Problem-solving ability; you stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions to keep production running smoothly.
  • Adaptability and resilience; you thrive in a fast-moving environment and guide your team through challenges.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills; fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Physical fitness and flexibility; full-time availability for day, afternoon, or night shifts, with the ability to adapt to business needs.
