Senior Fullstack Developer role at Datacom

What You'll Do
  • Analyse, design, program, debug, and modify enhancements or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Understand requirements for a feature or component and deliver code to fulfil those requirements. Deliver end-to-end solutions within the product portfolio across backend and frontend frameworks.
  • Work with domain team members to ensure solutions are developed, coded, and configured (including reporting) to meet business requirements, following standard processes for certainty of outcome.
  • Resolve defects and ambiguities in functional & technical design; stay abreast of current best practices and technologies.
  • Write code using current programming languages and technologies; perform testing and debugging; install, test and maintain systems software.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features or capabilities within the product portfolio; modify and troubleshoot applications and programs.
  • Prepare and maintain system and program documentation; interact with users to define system requirements and modifications.
  • Design, code, test and install applications across multiple platforms; provide technical and leadership support to other developers in the team.
What You'll Bring
  • Developed skills and knowledge on Django framework
  • Developed skills and knowledge on Angular framework
  • Advanced understanding of Django REST Framework and REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Advanced understanding of Django ORM
  • Advanced understanding of Celery and Redis
  • Advanced understanding of Postgres databases
  • Proficient with modern DevOps tools and utilities including GitLab
  • Proficient with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence
  • 7+ years' related experience in a relevant technical field
  • 7+ years' experience in Python programming and applications design
  • Strong time management, prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • Ability to build an industry-leading, customer-centric product delivery pipeline using tooling
  • Proactive in anticipating needs and delivering quality code with a focus on maintainability and performance
  • Ability to perform QA to identify, diagnose and resolve issues; troubleshoot and solve issues related to config, data, or code
  • Experience in working in a small, dynamic, collaborative team
