Role Description
The Accelerated Sales Expert drives strategic initiatives with an innovative portfolio to accelerate cloud revenue growth through transformative sales motions. The ASE acts as a scalable subject matter expert and partners with the Account Executive and Account Teams to address complex growth opportunities, maximise value creation for customers, articulate business outcomes, and accelerate go-to-market strategies. It is a critical role to expand the cloud footprint, guide renewals, foster solution expansion, and drive long-term growth through scalable engagements across a defined region and area of responsibility.
Responsibilities- Accelerate Cloud Revenue Growth — Expedite transformative sales engagements with domain expertise; build and accelerate a healthy R4Q pipeline aligned with the designated segment; increase deal velocity as an expert; progress opportunities effectively; grow SAP's strategic footprint in industries with ideal customers and maturity stage.
- Position Value of Innovations — Focus on high-propensity accounts and collaborate with the VAT to drive business outcomes; understand and focus on the customer's business goals and desired outcomes; articulate the expected solution value to the customer to achieve their outcomes; bring in domain expertise to accelerate and expand transformative sales motions through collaboration with account teams and Partners.
- Drive Continued Customer Success — Communicate the value to the customer and ensure a continued path to success; support renewals and expansions by recognising the customer's needs and value; secure path to deploy and usage by paving the way for incremental consumption; ensure ongoing success to realise sustainable customer lifetime value (CLTV).
- At least 10 years of professional work experience in a Client Management role (Partner Director/AE).
- Results-driven with solid experience in a Software/Serviced Sales environment.
- Excellent conceptual, written, and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation, facilitation, and influencing skills at C-Level.
- Team-oriented with ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organization; understands IT challenges at an operational level and has experience with large-scale transformation road maps, business cases, and programs.
- Ability to communicate roadmaps, plans, and programs to C-level stakeholders; translate strategic business requirements into business capabilities; articulate the unique value proposition of an Eco-System client proposal.
- Experience with a Customer Lifecycle approach to transformational journeys; ability to identify, engage, and manage key client stakeholders and establish governance for proactive management across the customer and within a matrix Value Account Team environment (Sales, Services, and Eco-system).
- Act as a Thought Leader and Transformation Coach.
- Bachelor-equivalent degree.
