Australian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational Christian Education organisation. Our Hobart campus is a co-educational K-10 school known for academic progress, character development, and student care. Supported by approachable staff committed to student success, the school community is small (100+ students) but has a strong learning culture and significant growth potential.

About the Role
ACC Hobart is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.8FTE, 60.8 hours per fortnight) Christian English Teacher, also covering a component of History or Drama.
This role is available to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the capacity to:
- Actively lead the Christian formation of students;
- Lead in delivering Pastoral Care grounded in genuine Christian faith;
- Contribute to an inclusive learning environment and foster cross-cultural understanding among students;
- Develop an educational approach that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous. Preference will be given to teachers familiar with the Explicit Instruction model;
- Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills, and abilities; and
- Participate in staff meetings, contribute to extracurricular activities, and liaise with parents as appropriate.

- You hold a relevant bachelor degree and additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Masters of Education).

- You are eager to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning programs.
