
AO6 Program Scheduler

Davidson is working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Program Scheduler within construction. This position supports the Delivery Teams ensuring that the department's projects/programs (Maintain, Build and Respond) are scheduled appropriately and with efficient and effective resource allocation to achieve resource utilisation targets, forward pipeline of works and apprentice training.
Base pay rangeA$78.02/hr
Responsibilities- Utilise contemporary scheduling systems to develop, review and administer schedules to coordinate construction and delivery of multiple projects / programs delivered by the department. This includes schedules and plans for current and future pipeline projects in accordance with critical resourcing and time constraints.
- Collaborate with Apprentice Supervisors and the department's Apprenticeship team and other stakeholders to schedule the department's apprentices to appropriate projects / maintenance tasks to ensure training competencies are achieved.
- Develop detailed schedules that support the delivery of programs in collaboration with the delivery teams.
- Develop and maintain a project / program of work status dashboard to provide detailed and accurate reporting on construction programs and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the department to drive consistency of the project / programs of work scheduling approach and facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
- Consult and coordinate with Delivery teams and other stakeholders to develop and regularly update detailed schedules to plan and resolve resourcing issues and escalate issues where required to Regional Management teams.
- Ability to interpret detailed and complex information from multiple sources including project documents to develop the required schedules.
- Experience in construction scheduling and delivering projects using construction management methodologies.
- Relevant project management or construction management experience and advanced skills in data processing and manipulation.
- Must have scheduling experience.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft Project Professional & Project Web App (or equivalent).
- $78.02 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
- Contract up to March 2026
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
