BI Developer / Data Analyst (12-month Contract) – Lucid Insights

About The Role

The Elders Finance Systems and Data Analysis Team (FSDA) is in an exciting growth phase. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial and technological landscape for the Elders business. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will support the Elders technical environment to ensure accurate and high-quality information for stakeholders from executive to operational levels. You will combine business understanding with information technology to deliver efficient information solutions across Elders and support continuous improvement in finance and other business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Data analysis and visualisation
  • Data model creation
  • Dashboard and report creation
  • Business performance intelligence and reporting across key business areas
  • BAU and self-service support

You will be responsible for understanding the wider business reporting and analytics requirements for Elders and communicating those requirements as realised business outcomes.

Qualifications / About You
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ (RDBMS) & SSRS, DAX Studio and Tabular Editor 3 (desired)
  • Experience in analytical reporting
  • Familiar with DevOps / GitHub source control and principles
  • Strong analytical and commercially minded professional
  • Accountable for results
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
