Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a leading Australian FMCG Food supplier in their search for a National Account Executive (Corporate Grocery). Reporting into the National Business Manager (Retail), this role will provide the successful applicant with exposure to major grocery accounts, being guided by an experienced and supportive National Business Manager. The role would be ideal for an existing National Account Executive or even a Category Analyst or Key Account Manager who would be keen for a customer facing Corporate Grocery position with a clear development path into a National Account Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the promotional program with Retail customers and communicate to all internal planning teams to ensure total alignment.
• Manage communication on new product implementation and deletion process.
• Oversee collaboration meetings with Retail category teams.
• Oversee the rebates management with the Rebates Controller.
• Provide day to day contact for Retail category teams and internal personnel.
• Assist to develop and drive key strategic goals within each category.
• Manage Retail mastersheets ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
• Assist NBM with creating the quarterly business review deck .
• Crisis management communication.
• Derive commercials for new products and coordinate with Product Development team throughout the gate process and to product launch.
• Review and find trends/gaps/callouts in scan data.
• Create and drive Freezer account strategy to align with core business objectives.
• Ideate and collaborate with PD and Marketing team on Freezer NPD and see through creation end to end.

Key Requirements:

• Experience at NAE/ KAM or Category Analyst level.
• Good analytical experience, ideally with exposure to shopper scan data (Circana/Nielsen/Quantium).
• Ability to work in a fast paced category.
• Good collaboration skills - the role will work strong with various departments including; Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance etc.
