An exciting opportunity exists at our Longford Plant for experienced Skilled Meat Workers. This is a full time position with the potential to earn up to $54,000 (commensurate with experience & skill levels applied) and more with additional allowances and/or overtime where worked.

Responsibilities:

  • To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
  • Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
  • Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
  • A professional work attitude
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High focus & attention to detail

Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering/Sawing duties required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of different rotations.
  • Proven high level of knife sharpening skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and commination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with supervisors on improving daily duties.
