Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of BINGO's Work Health & Safety (WHS) components
  • Regularly conducting rigorous WHS audits and inspections
  • Ensuring that appropriate risk identification, assessments and control measures are in place
  • Reviewing WHS requirements as per BINGO's contractor management processes
  • Maintaining risk management processes and critical control objectives
  • Leading and supporting the incident management process and incident investigations
  • Coordinating and facilitating WHS consultation and communication
  • Assisting in the coordination of BINGO's Return to Work and Injury Management programs
  • Advise Operations Teams on best practice and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications and/or prior experience in a similar role. A degree in WHS is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in, or strong knowledge of management systems including ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems or similar
  • An understanding of the waste/recycling industry or similar high hazard industry
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting safety audits
  • Excellent communication and the ability to engage effectively at all levels with stakeholders
