Expression of Interest – Property Underwriters | Melbourne

Are you an experienced Property Underwriter ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for professionals who can combine technical expertise with strong broker relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes in Melbourne's competitive insurance market.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate property risks and make sound underwriting decisions in line with company standards

Oversee a portfolio of mid-sized and major, more complex property accounts

Drive growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities

Determine premiums for both new and renewal policies using rating tools and established frameworks

Draft, issue, and review policy documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

What We're Looking For:

Solid experience in property underwriting (commercial, industrial, or SME)

Strong technical knowledge of risk assessment and underwriting principles

Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships

ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent (preferred)

A proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach
