What You'll Be Doing

As part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team, you'll provide meaningful care to people across regional Queensland, including children, families, and adults who may not otherwise have access to specialist health services. Your work will include:

  • Administering standardised and informal assessments
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy for communication and swallowing disorders
  • Supporting clients with developmental delays, disabilities, and acquired conditions
  • Implementing early childhood intervention strategies with a family-centred approach
  • Collaborating with other health professionals to provide holistic, community-based care

Whether you're based in Mount Isa, Townsville, or Longreach, you'll make a lasting impact in rural and remote communities.

Who We're Looking For

We're searching for passionate, driven graduates who are ready to take the leap and build a career that matters. To be successful, you'll need:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology (recent graduate or near completion)
  • Eligibility forSpeech Pathology Australia membership
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within regional areas
  • Willingness to obtain a QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and compassion
  • A genuine desire to contribute to rural and remote healthcare
