Overall Purpose of the PositionAs a Safety Business Partner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of a sustainably safe operation by providing effective business partnering and leveraging expertise in Safety, Compliance, Risk Management, and Incident Investigation.
You will actively engage with all business streams to address day-to-day operational challenges and foster a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate with local leaders to identify and lead safety improvement initiatives.
- Support health and safety consultative processes within designated locations.
- Participate in risk assessments to identify, control, and mitigate hazards.
- Engage with frontline staff to ensure compliance with safety policies and standards.
- Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough analysis and follow-up.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans, supporting leaders in their execution.
- Manage safety IT systems related to incident reporting, investigation, and audits.
- Promote a positive safety culture through awareness, engagement, and accountability.
- Encourage safety reporting and continuous improvement suggestions.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure safety performance, and drive improvements.
- Prepare and present safety reports to management, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.
- Experience in Safety within Aviation, Warehousing, Transportation, or Logistics sectors.
