Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Nutrition Outreach Assistant situated in Campbelltown/Wollondilly, NSW, with some work from home flexibility. The Nutrition Outreach Assistant will be responsible for engaging with community members. They will facilitate in home skill building sessions for our clients who include vulnerable community members, families, and carers. They will support them to implement our nutritional advice in practical ways. They will assist with research on community needs, and provide excellent customer service. Additional tasks include supporting community outreach programs, basic administration and fostering relationships within the community.

  • Confident cook, able to guide others with basic skills
  • Passionate about nutrition
  • Warm, respectful, and community-minded
  • Comfortable supporting people with disability or mental health needs
  • Passionate about food and nutrition
  • Aligned with our values: guiding, empowering, inspiring
  • Casual and flexible (Building to ~15 hrs/week)
  • Mix of in-home, remote food prep, and some work-from-home
  • $44.24 per hour (including 12% superannuation)
  • Work mobile phone provided
