Program Manager – Global Enterprise Lead (Local Voices)
Lead the delivery of Local Voices across a global footprint
Voconiq is seeking a confident and capable program manager to lead the rollout and ongoing delivery of the Local Voices program for one of the world's largest resource companies, with operations spanning more than 25 locations globally.
This is a rare opportunity to oversee a complex, high-impact engagement and research program at global scale. You will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams, coordinating teams across regions, and building trusted relationships with client stakeholders—from ground-level teams to corporate executives. More than that, you will be an important part of helping Voconiq to achieve its mission and grow to deliver impact at much larger scales.
What you'll be responsible for- Stakeholder & client management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Governance: Oversee program-level governance, reporting, and risk management across a large, multi-stream account.
- Organisation & process: Bring a detail-oriented, process-driven mindset to improve operations and deliver consistent results.
- Leadership: Facilitate high-impact meetings, manage internal alignment, and act as the key escalation point.
- We're looking for someone highly organised, collaborative, and strategic, with strong communication skills and a sharp eye for process improvement.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration, and navigating large-scale, complex change management to drive program alignment and support.
- Define and align program goals with Voconiq's organisational strategy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure consistent and timely progress towards objectives.
- Oversee resource allocation and risk management across the program. Anticipate and proactively escalate potential problems, develop contingency plans, and implement solutions to keep the program on track.
- Proactively adjust plans and strategies in response to changing conditions, ensuring agility while maintaining focus on key outcomes.
- Monitor and report on overall program performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop project budgets and ensure they are met.
- Establishes, influences and empowers cross-functional teams.
- At least 5 years' experience in either project/program management, social or market research.
- Strong project, program management and organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple projects, resources, and timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate program goals, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders informed. The ability to tailor communication style to different audiences and proactively address concerns or issues.
- Provide informal leadership across teams, guiding and supporting project leads and promoting collaboration and influencing direction through trust and effective communication.
- Change management experience.
- Risk management expertise to identify and mitigate program-wide risks.
- Experience leading change initiatives or navigating organisational changes, particularly in complex or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Program evaluation and performance measurement skills to track overall progress.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Proficient in business tools (i.e. MS Office, PM tools) CRM experience to track progress and engagement would be highly valued.
- Willingness to work flexibly across time zones and adapt to varying schedules to support global and remote teams. Demonstrated understanding of working respectfully with diverse communities, including Indigenous and First Nations Peoples and applying culturally appropriate engagement practices.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of Communities and Social Performance principles and practices is highly desirable, particularly in the context of stakeholder engagement or social research.
This role is location-flexible. While we have a strong preference for candidates based in Brisbane (Bowen Hills) or Melbourne (CBD), where our existing teams and offices can offer in-person collaboration, we're also open to the right candidate working fully remotely.
