About the role

As part of the Management Team, this position works closely with the C‑Suite (CEO & CFO), Executives and other Managers (Finance / HR and Corporate Services) to strengthen, optimise and maintain integrity of the organisation's corporate business functions of Assets & Facilities/ WHS and IT along with key risk reporting systems. You will also work closely with the external ICT Provider, Asset and other major suppliers and assist the CFO with managing these key contracts that support operations.

To be successful you will need

  • Substantive experience in corporate / shared services environment/s and related roles, with an interest in community services and an understanding of poverty, hardship, service access and the role of social justice.
  • Extensive systems experience, knowledge of and ability to navigate diverse ICT platforms / databases / digital solutions, and a track record of improving related processes and embedding changes.
  • Experience in staff management, a strong track record of teamwork and the ability to oversee work units / business functions including Work Health and Safety, Risk Registers, Incident Management and/or Fleet and Facilities.
  • Substantial experience implementing projects, collaborative orientation and highly developed project management skills including advanced planning and reporting capabilities.
  • Aptitude for analysis, ability to navigate complexity and interdependencies between systems and organisational needs, and knowledge of auditing and quality assurance requirements for NGOs.
  • Experience and/or genuine interest in working with First Nations people, families, organisations and communities and progressing Closing the Gap commitments and Reconciliation.

Compliance

  • Qualifications in Business, Finance / Administration related discipline and eligibility for professional membership.
  • A current QLD driver's license 'Class C' or interstate equivalent
  • Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Current national Police Check (within the last 3 months)
  • Current LCS2 check (Child Safety and Personal History Screening)
  • Be willing to provide two reference checks from your most recent employment
