Condamine Wellscreens (CWS) is a successful manufacturer of stainless-steel products for the Agricultural, Water, Mining and Resource sectors. We pride ourselves on producing high quality work and, having operated since 1993, we have built a team that shares our passion and commitment to quality.
In 2016, CWS acquired McDowall Engineering – an independent wedge wire shaping business. McDowall operates several wire lines which specialise in transforming round, stainless steel feed wire into wedge wire profiles.This role will see you supporting both businesses.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Administration Officer to play a key role in supporting our busy workshop and broader operations team. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of key functions such as freight and logistics coordination, while also providing essential support to the team across finance and administration.
You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day administrative needs, helping ensure our production runs smoothly behind the scenes.
We work in a niche industry – so while we don't expect you to come in knowing our products, we are looking for someone who brings strong admin capability, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to getting things done.
How will you do this?
Manage freight bookings and coordinate logistics for both domestic and international orders, including liaising with carriers and tracking shipments.
Support the Office Manager with accounts receivable/payable and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, payments and reconciliations.
Maintain key business and workshop data with a high level of accuracy to support operational efficiency.
Provide direct administrative support to team members across departments, including document preparation, data entry, filing, and general office duties.
Be responsible for the purchasing of materials, consumables and office supplies.
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering prompt, friendly and professional service.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a senior administrative, operations or logistics support role.
A self-starter with the confidence to work autonomously and support others in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Experience in freight coordination or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
