The position will as an 8/6 roster, 12-hour roster FIFO from Perth or even ideally be based residentially in Kalgoorlie (relocation support within Australia will be provided to Kal only)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experiencedLead – Safety & Health Advisorto join our team atMungari Operations. Reporting to theSuperintendent – Health, Safety, Emergency and Training, this leadership role is pivotal in driving health and safety excellence across our site.

As the Lead Advisor, you will:

• Oversee and support a team of Safety Advisors across both underground and open-pit operations
• Lead the implementation of safety systems and ensure compliance with WA WHS legislation
• Facilitate risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, including ICAMs

This role offers a dynamic blend of office-based and operational responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You'll work closely with department managers, supervisors, and external service providers to deliver on our safety objectives and support continuous improvement.

About you

You are a confident and capable safety professional with a strong foundation in mining operations and a passion for driving health and safety excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a health and safety role within mining or a related industry
• ADiploma in Work Health & Safety(WHS) – essential
• ICAM Lead Investigator certification and proven experience conducting investigations
• Underground mining experience – ideally 3+ years in an operational safety capacity

You're a natural leader who can guide and support a team, influence stakeholders across site, and maintain high standards of compliance and safety culture. Your communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to work collaboratively will make you a valued member of the team.
