APD deliver engineering and design solutions to power utilities, electricity generation developers, and the mining and resources sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Our team of professionals operates from multiple offices in the APAC region, offering services in extra high voltage transmission grids, power distribution networks, and consumer-end electric supply facilities, along with protection system design, automation, control, and communication.

Due to growth, we are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer for our Darwin Office. This role will provide first-class training and development to facilitate the delivery of high-quality substation engineering and design services in a safe, reliable, efficient, and commercially responsible manner. You will develop extensive technical knowledge, experience, and skills to undertake assigned detailed design work and become a true subject matter expert.

You will also need:

• An Electrical Engineering Degree, Diploma/Advanced Diploma, or Electrical trade qualification.
• Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and manage workload priorities.
• Strong academic record.
• Legal entitlement to work in Australia
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Prior Experience in Australian Power Transmission and Distribution Utilities will be an advantage (Vacation Work/Internships etc.).
• Prior experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation will be an advantage.
