Are you looking for a role where you can leverage your exceptional resourcing experience to lead our resourcing and rostering functions? If so, this is the opportunity for you.

As the Head of Resourcing (Rostering), you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and management of our rostering systems and practices to ensure that the right talent is deployed across the business in the most efficient and effective manner. You will work closely with senior leadership to align resource planning with business objectives and ensure seamless staffing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the resourcing and rostering function, ensuring accurate, cost-effective, and timely allocation of resources across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve rostering processes, systems, and tools to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to forecast staffing needs, ensuring the right skill sets are available to meet demand.
  • Oversee and optimize the recruitment, scheduling, and allocation of staff in line with business demands and operational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Enterprise Agreements, company policies, and best practices in all rostering activities.
  • Analyse resourcing data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance workforce performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement technology solutions that streamline rostering practices.
  • Manage a team of resourcing specialists and oversee their professional development and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, operations, and finance teams, to ensure alignment on resource allocation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in a resourcing, rostering, or workforce planning role.
  • Strong understanding of rostering and scheduling software, and experience implementing or optimising such systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge on application of Enterprise Agreements, and best practices in workforce management.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex projects.
