The University of Melbourne's Enterprise Technology Department seeks a Head of Human Resource Information Systems to lead the optimization of HR systems. This role involves bridging business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure HR system requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the People Systems Teams, prioritizing the HR systems backlog and allocating tasks based on HR Product Owners' priorities
  • Collaborate with the ERP System Owner to align the HR roadmap and oversee support, enhancements, and updates for HR systems
  • Lead defect resolution, scope requirements, and coordinate user acceptance for new HR features
  • Oversee release management and ensure smooth implementation of HR system updates

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and proven experience in HR/Payroll processes; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • ITIL qualifications with service management experience in an operational environment advantageous
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Manager of a HRIS Systems Team
