Are you a driven technical sales professional with experience in industrial or HVAC sectors? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of industrial gas equipment, who are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their high-performing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a territory, work with a premium product range, and engage with key clients across Victoria and beyond.
About the Role
As the Technical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling an extensive range of products across NSW. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines business development, technical support, and account management. You'll build strong relationships with clients across plumbing, HVAC, industrial, manufacturing, and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan.
- Prospect new clients and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and technical product presentations.
- Provide tailored technical solutions in collaboration with the internal support team.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, and forecasting reports.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
About You
You're a confident and technically minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You're commercially savvy, results-driven, and motivated by growth.
What We're Looking For
- Experience of B2B external sales experience in a technical/industrial environment.
- Experience working within plumbing, HVAC, industrial, or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of a structured sales process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout VIC and interstate.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Technical qualification in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or gas fitting.
- Experience with gas control components or industrial gas installations.
- Familiarity with Type B gas fitters or OEM accounts.
