About the Role

This is an exciting clinical management opportunity in our rehabilitation leadership team at Masada Private Hospital as a Nurse Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an experienced team of nursing professionals in planning, implementing and evaluating multi-disciplinary practices, processes and services within the 30 bed, all-private room ward.
  • Accountable for efficient and effective management of staff and resources within the department to deliver excellent clinical care.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical leadership skill set in a hospital setting either as a Nurse Manager in a similar department or as a senior nurse wanting to step into a management role.

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Proven knowledge and experience as an ANUM, Hospital Coordinator or Nurse Unit Manager in a similar ward.
  • Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance is highly desirable.

Masada Private Hospital is a state of the art 105-bed facility providing fast stream inpatient and day rehabilitation services, acute surgical, and early parenting services in Melbourne's southeastern suburb of East St Kilda - 5km from the CBD. Close to public transport and free parking on site.
