Overview

Join to apply for the Food Services Assistant - Hamlyn Terrace role at NSW Health. Employment Type: Exempt Part Time (up to January 2026). Location: Wyong Hospital. Hours per Week: 20. Position Classification: Hospital Assist Grade 3. Remuneration: $29.48 per hour plus shift allowances and 12% superannuation.

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. During application, please upload the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have.

Responsibilities
  • Order taking
  • Meal assembly
  • Meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
  • Recording intake
  • Dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
  • Waste management

Eligibility Requirements

  • Australian work rights required (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to citizens and permanent residents; temporary and casual roles welcome visa holders
