The training program offers clinical experience in specific disciplines and an opportunity to gain formal scholarly training through concurrent enrolment in a graduate program. These positions would suit a recent graduate veterinarian interested in further university training and upskilling in areas that would be relevant to general practice, or a steppingstone to further clinical training such as a residency. Exceptional new graduates will be considered. An annual stipend of $40k is offered with concurrent enrolment in the graduate program which results in award of a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Studies after completion of 2 semesters. Application for clinical training positions is restricted to veterinarians with a degree that can be registered in Western Australia.
