Assistant Venue Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The Local, located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will thrive on autonomy and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations.

Our iconic Aussie pub is renowned for its warm atmosphere, cold beers, hearty pub fare, and vibrant live sports scene. We have built a reputation as the go-to spot for both tourists and locals looking to unwind in a welcoming, laid-back environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of hotel operations
  • Fostering strong relationships with team members, patrons, and local suppliers
  • Maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences

  • Generous salary $80,000 - $85,000 plus Super
  • Quarterly KPI Bonus $44,000

Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years of Management experience in a similar venue
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems
  • Understanding of P&Ls, COGs & GPs
  • Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
  • Presentation on the floor during peak service periods
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
  • Holding a current RLMV & Approved Managers license
