We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our close-knit team at The Local, a renowned Aussie pub in Surfers Paradise. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue.
Job DescriptionThe Venue Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including managing relationships with team members, patrons, and local suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily operations and maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences;
- Fostering strong relationships with team members, patrons, and local suppliers;
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including P&Ls, COGs, and GPs;
- Generating revenue-building ideas across all business areas;
- Effective roster management and stocktaking skills;
- Promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a similar venue;
- Knowledge of venue reporting and systems;
- Understanding of P&Ls, COGs, and GPs;
- Ability to generate revenue-building ideas across all business areas;
- Presence on the floor during peak service times, including late nights and weekends;
- Current RLMV & Approved Managers license.
