Lead Strategy. Drive Culture. Shape the Future.

Looking for your next executive step? Ready to blend purpose with leadership?

Join Karralika Programs — a purpose-driven organisation empowering and supporting individuals and families impacted by alcohol and other drugs (AOD) to make life-changing decisions for their future. As Director of Corporate Services, you'll play a vital role in shaping the strategy and ways of working for this respected and growing NGO.

Your Seat at the Executive Table

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll join Karralika's Executive Team and work alongside Clinical Directors and Program Leaders. This role carries responsibility for corporate governance, people and culture, workforce wellbeing, and organisational sustainability — all while shaping strategy and strengthening partnerships.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Leading people and culture strategy (HR, WHS, IR, workforce wellbeing)
  • Driving strategic planning, business development, and policy innovation
  • Supporting governance, compliance, and financial sustainability
  • Building stakeholder partnerships, income streams, and reputation
  • Representing Karralika externally and contributing to sector thought leadership
  • Championing values, inclusion, and people-first solutions
Setting You Up For Success

In your first weeks and months, you will:

  • Work directly with the CEO to onboard into the executive team
  • Build strong relationships across programs, governance groups, and partners
  • Contribute to finalising our new Strategic Plan and begin shaping the Business Plan
  • Familiarise yourself with workforce structures, systems, and organisational culture

Within 6–12 months, you will be leading:

  • Delivery of strategic and business plan priorities
  • Development of a refreshed workforce strategy to boost attraction, retention, and wellbeing
  • Partnerships and external engagement that elevate Karralika's profile
  • Improvements in governance, compliance, and sustainability across corporate services
Is This You?

We're looking for a strategic, people-first leader who thrives in executive environments.

You will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role, ideally in NGO/community or health sectors
  • Strong governance, workforce, and compliance expertise
  • A proven ability to drive organisational strategy and build partnerships
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and emotional intelligence

You will thrive here if you are:

  • Forward-thinking and innovative
  • Grounded in compliance, but open to new ideas
  • Values-led, empathetic, and collaborative
  • Calm under pressure, with clear strategic vision

This is a role for someone who wants to grow — potentially into a future CEO role — while making a meaningful impact now.

What's In It For You
  • Salary from $130K (pro-rata, 4 days/week) + 12% super
  • Up to $15,990 salary packaging
  • 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
  • Relocation support negotiable for the right candidate
  • Flexible working hours and arrangements
  • Phone, laptop, EAP, free parking
  • Professional development opportunities and real succession pathways
  • A collaborative, supportive executive team with people-first culture
Everyone Has a Seat Here

At Karralika Programs, inclusion isn't a buzzword — it's who we are. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally diverse individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, people with disability, and those with lived experience of AOD recovery.

Everyone has a seat at our table.

Take Your Next Step

We're reviewing applications as they come in, so don't wait.

Apply today and take your seat at the executive table — where strategy meets purpose.
