Required Skills and Experience:

We are seeking a seasoned IAM Program Security Architect/Lead to oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This role will lead enterprise-wide initiatives across workforce and customer identity domains, including platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, RSA and other IAM technologies. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to drive secure, scalable, and compliant identity solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 16+ years of experience in IAM, with leadership experience in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proven expertise in Okta (Workforce and CIAM), SailPoint IdentityNow, and related IAM technologies.
  • Strong understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), authentication flows, and access governance.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Directory Services, LDAP schema, and directory integrations.
  • Familiarity with IAM technologies such as CyberArk, HashiCorp, RSA, Radiator, Microsoft Entra ID
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, CCPA).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Okta and/or SailPoint certifications (Architect, Professional).
  • Experience with other IAM tools (e.g., Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Background in telecom or service provider environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise IAM strategy, roadmap, and execution across workforce and CIAM platforms.
  • Own the architecture and governance of IAM solutions including Okta, SailPoint IdentityNow, and supporting technologies.
  • Oversee identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control, and access reviews.
  • Drive incident response and root cause analysis for IAM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business, security, and IT stakeholders to align IAM capabilities with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage integrations with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, ServiceNow, Workday, and cloud/SaaS platforms.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional IAM team, fostering technical excellence and leadership development.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Stay current with IAM trends, vendor roadmaps, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide clear reporting and communication to executive stakeholders on IAM program status, risks, and outcomes.
