Allambi Care is seeking a casual NDIS - Community Support Worker for Alstonville, Northern NSW. We are a multi‑discipline human services organisation with over 40 years of experience and a commitment to supporting our community's most vulnerable people.
Responsibilities- Build a relationship with the people you are caring for.
- Provide care to participants following a routine developed in consultation with the participants and their needs, including personal, medication and domestic care.
- Transport the people in our care to and from school, grocery shopping and appointments.
- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client.
- Prepare and maintain reports as required.
- Paid induction program.
- Ongoing support and on‑going professional development.
- Access to on‑call support and other benefits as part of the role.
- Rates for this role commence at SCHADS Level 2 Paypoint 1.
- Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment).
- Current NDIS Worker Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; HLTAID011).
- National Police Check.
- Current driver's licence (minimum of a P2).
- A vehicle capable of transporting four or more people.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Ability to work a 7‑day shift roster.
- Willingness to participate in pre‑employment medical checks.
- Two professional references.
- Certificate 4 Disability, or Disability Support or equivalent.
- Certificate 3 Individual Support.
- Certificate 3 Aged Care.
