About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Construction Truck Driver to join our team at APX Civil Pty Ltd in Yallah, NSW. This is a casual role with the opportunity to progress to full-time for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Safely operating and manoeuvring various size trucks and trailers to transport construction materials, machinery, equipment and waste to and from job sites
  • Performing pre-start checks, minor maintenance, and reporting any issues with the vehicles
  • Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of trucks as required
  • Working collaboratively with the construction crew to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and materials transported

What We're Looking For
  • A valid Heavy Rigid (HR- essential) or Heavy Combination (HC- preferred) driver's licence
  • Demonstrated experience operating a range of civil construction vehicles and equipment such as tippers, truck and dog trailers, and other heavy vehicles. Experience operating equipment such as excavators and posi-tracks is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and safe driving practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset
