Job Description

As an experienced Property Valuer within our Canberra-based team, you will apply your core valuation expertise across a diverse range of strategic advisory engagements. This role offers the opportunity to pivot beyond traditional valuation into broader consulting work that supports complex decision-making across government, institutional, and private sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering timely and accurate valuation advice for various purposes, including acquisitions, disposals, business case development, grant funding submissions, and compensation assessments.
  • Translating valuation insights into strategic recommendations that inform planning, investment, and policy decisions.
  • Engaging directly with Canberra-based clients, conducting market research, preparing reports, and responding to requests for proposals.
  • Supporting the development of deep expertise within the team across multiple real estate sectors and markets.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Cushman & Wakefield to deliver integrated, value-add advisory services and build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
About You

We're looking for a driven and collaborative professional who brings a passion for property and a commitment to excellence. You will ideally have:

  • Translating valuation insights into strategic recommendations that inform planning, investment, and policy decisions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) and API membership.
  • Exposure to a variety of asset classes and a solid understanding of core valuation methodologies.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
