About The Role

As a Bus Driver, you'll play a vital role in providing our residents with opportunities to connect, enjoy social activities, and reduce isolation.

The role requires a commitment of 16 hours per week (Tuesday and Thursday; 8:30am to 4pm), split between IRT Culburra Beach and IRT ST St Georges Basin.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Picking up and dropping off elderly residents from various locations, assisting with access and egress from the bus as required.
  • Reviewing suitable venues in the community that meet the needs of our elderly residents.
  • Maintaining and cleaning the vehicle. The bus is a Mercedes 10-seater.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Previous experience driving passenger vehicles.
  • A current Light Rigid (LR/MR) Licence.
  • A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • The ability to work a variety of shifts and flexible hours, including after-hours events.
  • Experience working with elderly clients is desirable.
